Bug Description
Merge proposals now have a 'resubmit' action, which marks the old one superseded and creates a new review of the same branch. Essentially this hides the conversation to date.
Now that mp diffs update automatically(?) this is generally no longer necessary, and possibly a bad idea. It may be that the "throw out this conversation and start again" is such a rare action that it's better to just let people do it manually?

Its my understanding that there is a fix in the queue to carry the conversation over. I filed a separate bug about notifying people on updates to merges, which is I think the thing that really is needed (https:/ /bugs.edge. launchpad. net/launchpad- code/+bug/ 485625).
