Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

there seems to be no option to toggle the autoremove "feature" for the actual playlist off.
it's annoying if one wants to hear the same music again or repeat the playlist.

i add files from music browser to queue and start playback, every played song will be removed after the next file playback begins.
there is no toggle to turn that off, even if i turn infinitive loop on, it removes the songs so the queue can't be looped...

Thanks for your bug report. I spoke to the rhythmbox upstream developers and it is behaving how it is meant to. If you want to loop or shuffle, it would be better to use a playlist.

I've attached the upstream bug report where the developer has explicitly mentioned that this feature will not be fixed.

Marking this bug as won't fix , since the Rhythmbox devs specifically dont want to implement this feature. And adding a new feature or changing the upstream behavior in Ubuntu is not ideal.

If anyone is interested in this feature being implemented , Kindly bring up the discussion in the upstream Bug report.

User's can still use the playlists or select specific albums for the repeat.
