Bug Description
The python-cheetah package is based on cheetah 2.0.1 which is now over 2years old. Version 2.4 was recently released which in combination with the earlier releases fixes a number of bugs, improves performance as well as adding a number of new features. For full details of the changes see http://
Would it be possible to upgrade the ubuntu package to a more recent version.
Thanks

The new versions really do a lot to make utf-8 work well with cheetah (without a lot of fiddling). Updating this would be good for everyone.
Please update this.
