Forum admin password problem when using Firefox

Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
Problem is independent of Ubuntu as same problem occurs using Firefox on Windows XP.
Problem does not occur using Chrome browser on Ubuntu or XP.
Problem does not occur using Internet Explorer (on XP).
Problem description:
When I attempt to logon as admin1 and default to or enter the correct password, Firefox does not show the page for phorum administration but just re-shows the logon page.
The problem did not occur with previous versions of Firefox.
