g15daemon does not claim interface before use

Bug Description

Binary package hint: g15daemon

g15daemon works well after cold start.
It does not work after resume from hibernation.
It continuously causes fast repeating error messages in /var/log/messages:
... (g15daemon) did not claim interface 0 before use
The keyboard mappings (as per ~.Xmodmap) are not restored.
Restarting the daemon ('sudo /etc/init.d/g15daemon restart') fixes the problem.

$ lsb_release -rd

$ apt-cache policy g15daemon
g15daemon:

I think this bug is solved in debian starting from 1.9.5.3-5: udev rule will detach and reattach correctly the deamon.

Ok, Giacomo, and what should we do to get version 1.9.5.3-5 via the default update channels, or should I get it in a non standard way, and how do I do that than?

The bug still occurs with Ubuntu 10.10 ; when happening, it is flooding my log !
