Bug Description

Binary package hint: partman-base

Lucid Alpha 2 Ubuntu Alternate i386. When selecting LVM with encryption, partman fails and the installer hungs.

I can reproduce it with the Server ISO, but only if I use a virtio disk (/dev/vda). May be a red herring, but ide disks (/dev/hda) are alright. scsi-like disks (/dev/sda) seem alright as well. Real hardware with SATA disks (/dev/sda) is alright.

Error is a parted_devices segfault.

no more maintained release; fell free to open an other report with actual version if needed
