Binary package hint: totem-xine-
A look in "about:plugins" in Firefox reveals that totem-xine-
I think it should handle "video/x-ms-asf" as well. I suppose this should be just a quick fix.
I'm using Dapper and totem-xine-

Strictly speaking, bug #51167 should be a duplicate of this one, but I chose to dupe the other way because #51167 contains slightly more information. Thanks a lot for reporting this!
