Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies.
nautilus: Depends: libeel2-2 (>= 2.13.4) but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken packages
gnomefreak@EdgyEft:~$

apt-get -f install does not help any it returns 0 upgrades 0 removes ....

Same problem here after a fresh and standard Dapper Drake install, then changing every dapper to edgy in sources.list. After all that I used "apt-get dist-upgrade" to upgrade to egdy.

that's not a bug but a feature, they need to be upgraded on the same time

ok i can see that but if a feature why were they sent to servers at same time or day? Shouldn't it have been held back while waiting for nautilus to hit the uk servers? they were at servers around 24 hours apart thats why the bug was filed as a bug.

because the new version of the lib is required to build the application then they have to be uploaded with that order. If you are not happy with a moving distribution you should use dapper which is stable

i expect things like this i enjoy testing and im not upset in any way about it i had already found a workaround i just didnt understand why not let it all go at once. i used to this i tested breezy dapper and now edgy.
