Subject: linux-image-powerpc: annoying CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDE_PMAC_BLINK default
Package: linux-image-powerpc
Version: 2.6.17.2
Severity: wishlist

In edgy's ppc kernel package, CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDE_PMAC_BLINK is set to Y by default.
This option makes the sleep led of apple ibook/powerbook blinking with hard disk activity.
This option is rather annoying (try to use your ibook in darkness, and see yourself glowing)
and blinking with ide events is NOT the expected behaviour for that led.
I wish you could revert the default setting for that option to N.
Thanks.
