Bug Description

Installation of Nvidia proprietary driver from HW drivers (System->administration) windows caused a crash in Jockey-gtk package. The crash was detected but the automated reporting failed. It had asked me to upgrade to python 2.6 and python2.6-minimal. But I already have 2.6.4+ installed. This problem happened during testing of Nvidia propriety testing. let me know if any more information is needed, I can reproduce the problem multiple times.

Jockey has been superseded by software-properties, which now handles
third-party driver configuration.
