Bug Description

Hello,

Ubuntu: 9.10 32 Bit

When I put my computer into standby via the gnome button, it goes into standby as it should and it wakes up, when I push the Power Button. All works fine. But when I want to shutdown the computer, it does everything (umounting all drives shutting down daemons), but the computer does not switch off completely. I hear the hard drive switching off, but the fans and so on are still running. I will have to switch it off manually.

When I dont put the computer into standby and wake it up again, everything is perfect.

Hello
Is this problem present with the latest updated Karmic's, Lucid's or Maverick's packages?
Thanks in advance
