Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

After upgrade to Edgy, Evolution Mail 2.7.3 does not remember the passwords to my POP-servers anymore.
Ubuntu Edgy.

Thanks for the report. That's because evolution-data-server now uses gnome-keyring. While I understand that it's a nuisance, it was part of the process to more integration. Closing the bug.

the switch to gnome-keyring should not force users to enter their password again though. Do you still have the issue with the current edgy package?

It works in Gnome. Gnome-keyring starts when I check mail and handles the passwords.
In XFCE I have to enter my POP-passwords constantly. To me it seems like gnome-keyring does not work with XFCE.
