Bug Description

Binary package hint: gcc-4.4

ruby1.9 fails to compile with gcc4.4 4.4.3-2ubuntu2. It builds successfully with 4.4.3-2ubuntu1.

Attached is failed build log.

FYI, it only fails on i386.

how is this a GCC error?
