Description of the crash: Applet crashes when adding new programs

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Right click on quick-launch applet
2. Select 'Add existing launcher...'
3. Applet crashes

Expected Results:

Application menu or file browse dialog too add program to launcher

How often does this happen?

Every time.

Additional Information:

Right click on properties, select 'Add existing launcher...' yields same
as right-click on applet proper.
