Bug Description

I've tried to enable SSL on OFTC but the log shows xchat-gnome is still using port 6667 (instead of 9999).
Looking through the dependencies it seems xchat-gnome doesn't depend on libssl0.9.8 anymore. And the build log for amd64 confirms it that it was build without openssl:

checking for OPENSSL... configure: WARNING: Library requirements (openssl) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

Thanks for your bug report. Build-Depending on libssl-dev instead of libssl0.9.8 should do the trick. Will be fixed with next upload.
