Bug Description
Ampersand characters (&) are not escaped in the generated Latex code, this
has to be done manually.

In fact, I will not correct that: if I do it, a latexdraw user will no more be able to create a table (using tabluar) since the format of a table uses &; they will be replaced by \& and the table will not compile.
More generally, latexdraw is not an interface to latex as latex is: a text in latexdraw *must* be formatted in latex as if you write a latex document. Thus, I will not add a \ character when a text contains a &.
