By modality persistence, are you meaning the "persistent" option that's set in USB Creator? Does this option work properly from Ubuntu media from the same time frame and is failing specifically with Mythbuntu media?

I have created a disc of start usb, as I make with Ubuntu or Kubuntu, with a called partition casper-rw
When I start the computer I select the language (italian), I press f6 and I write "persistent", I press enter and after little time the screen jams with the icon "Ubuntu" stopped
Today I've tryed also Kubuntu 32 and 64 bit and they works correctly

Excuse me for my very bad English…
