Bug Description

In Kubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) Alpha 3 or Beta 1, automatic mounting of removable devices doesn't work, even if it's activated.

To reproduce this bug:
- start "System Settings"
- select "Advanced", "Removable Devices"
- enable "Enable automatic mounting of removable media"
- disable "Only automatically mount removable media that has been manually mounted before"
- enable "Mount all removable media at login"
- enable "Automatically mount removable media when attached"

Now connect a USB stick to your computer. You will get a message "Devices recently plugged in: [...]", but the device will not be mounted.
Logoff and logon at kdm. Your USB device will still not be mounted.

Kubuntu doesn't use autofs to handle remote usb disk. Re-assigning to hal instead.
