Bug Description

wanted to report bug. i got ubuntu 9.10 and run it on MSI gt 725 cpu q9000 quad core ddr2 4gd sound intel acl1200+ati hdmi graphic ati hd4850 hdd 500gb.

so after fresh ubuntu 9.10 install i go to synaptic and update repistory then update everything its around 200mb of data. with the update i get udev version 147 6.1 after that i reboot and get cpu usage in about 40 to 50%. i found that the reason of high cpu usage is udev cos when i downgrade udev to version 147 6.0 then the cpu usage is around 0 to 3% but with udev 147 6.0 my usb flash drive is not recognised. with udev version 147 6.1 usb is recognised but the cpu usage is to much (40%) so its look like sort of bug.
i use for my graphic card new catalyst 10.2 and graphic and everything is working very well the one just problem is with udev.

the same problem (high cpu usage 40% 50%) i have with lucid beta and i think that there is the same reason udev i wanted to downgrade it but i cant using synaptic.

tnx for your help

sarah
