This was one of client machine and I installed there already Ubuntu 6.06 LTS. So I cannot check this anymore. As I see - still is no Firefox 2.0 in Ubuntu 6.06 LTS :( I downloaded it manually and use it. I just linked plugins folder to plugins folder in /usr/lib/...

I don't have time to reinstall my system after each 6 months to get newest Firefox - I have big history in Thunderbird, which cannot be unfortunately exported and also I have a lot of configured programs. I need more time to get it all work again. Therefore this 6.06 LTS was so attractive, that I can 3 years get updates, etc. Perhaps there is opportunity to copy all Thunderbird profile - I have to test it.

Edmund,

This issue report lacks information we need to investigate further. We are now going to close the bug - please reopen when you have more information at hand.

Further information can be found at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingFirefox

That being said I feel you pain about the lack of firefox 1.5 support. I've requested a backport of 2.0 to dapper.

Thanks
David
