Bug Description

In a system with multiple users, the screensaver unlock dialog does not permit switching users.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Lock screen.
2. Press "Switch user" button.

Expected outcome:
The login screen is presented, so that any user account can be selected.

Actual outcome:
The screen blanks for a moment and the lock screen reappears. The only way to continue is to input the password of the user that locked the screen.

Workaround:
Use Ctrl+Alt+F<x> to switch to the X session of the desired user.

I get sent back to gdm regardless of whether that checkbox is ticked.

What is supposed to happen?

For example, one logins with username aaaaaa, and Quit/Lock Screen/Switch User ,hope to switch to user bbbbbb, but the system login interface still let you input aaaaaa's password.

When I try to reproduce this I can log back in as user aaaaaa or user bbbbbb depending on the user name box? This is desired behaviour as you probably want to join aaaaaa's session again.

is this what happens for you?

I can confirm this. Having checked the "Enable accessible login" checkbox that bstqc_ostl mentions, then Quit-->Switch user, it seems to prepare to load the usual GDM greeter, but then immediately switches to the password-protected dialog to return to the session I just quit.

Disabling the accessibility checkbox restores the desired behavior.

Marking as confirmed.

Does "gdmflexiserver --xnest" works when that option is activated?
