Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

Running hand over the pad moves the pointer in all directions making typing almost impossible! Is getting to my nerves already... don't know how to fix this so I have to report this issue;
I'm using karmic koala on Asus A52JR 64-bit laptop machine.

I'm on KDE and I hope you guys can get all the help that's out there to make
this OS as a first choice for any end user.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. If you could test the current Ubuntu stable release(maverick ubuntu 10.10), this would help us a lot.
