Bug Description

Attached are debdiffs against the current debian version, and the previous Ubuntu version of the package. This is a package merge.

Luke, it would be easiest if you generated a correct debdiff between the current Debian version and the newer merged ones; changelog entries seem to be missing.

Mmm. This is a not-so-short story. From debian packaging policy point
of view, the .so symbolic link should really reside in -dev. And from
an ABI point of view, orca should dlopen("libbrlapi.so.4"); instead of
dlopen("libbrlapi.so");

But these are really "should", and this fix should be fine for now.

When brltty will provide its own python bindings for BrlAPI, the orca
issue should be fixed and libbrlapi.so will be able to come back to
-dev.

Samuel, in my haste I uploaded an incorrect version (that Adam kindly pointed out). The fixed version was uploaded shortly afterward [0].
