[Lucid] "restart is required" message not shown after installing driver

Bug Description

After installing the nVidia proprietary driver no 'restart is required' message was shown.
For new users this little piece of missing information is quite necessary.

Have you tried with official Ubuntu 10.04 iso ?
I didn't have this issue.

Sorry for the delay, I did a fresh install today and everything worked OK.
