Bug Description

specific caracters that are 2 keys combinasons like 'ê' or 'ë' don't work in kde apps (I recently discovered it doesn't work in pure qt apps like opera or speedcrunch too), resulting '^e' or 'e'.
I don't have this issue in a tty or gnome application.

Tried it with explicitly setting de_DE layout. Works for all apps but Qt-based ones.

Is this a duplicate of bug #56794 - "Qt breaks dead keys"?

The problem was due to the arabic fonts patch.
I just merged with latest debian package, which contains a better patch avoiding this issue.
The package is now uploaded.
