Hi Martin,

I don't understand what you mean here.

By the title, I presume you want to link a bug to a branch. Which can be done, for instance, here:
https://launchpad.net/products/malone/+bug/57503/+addbranch

Changed in malone:
status: Unconfirmed → Needs Info

however, at the moment, it only allows you to specify that that is where the bug is being fixed - it'd be nice if you could also say "bug occurs in branch"

Hello Martin,

could you elaborate more on this feature?
How that would be useful?

Thanks for your feedback.

I'll give an example of what we were doing in katapult

In katapult, we were working on the 0.3.x-dev branch, in which we were stabilising and bugfixing the current code, while working on completely different things in the 0.4-dev branch.

This meant that while most people were using the main bugfix branch, some were using the development. If someone reported the issue in a development branch, we'd have no easy way of finding out whether it was just in the dev branch or the bugfix branch

Also, looking at a branch page and seeing something similar to "bugs occurring in this branch" would be a very useful feature.
