Bug Description

OS: Ubuntu 6.06
Hardware: hp laptop

The resolution is 1024x768 and insufficient.
I installed the resolution changer ("Auflösungsumschalter" in german) to change it.
I found no other dependencies.
The package installs without errors and appears in the menu.
When I click, nothing happens.

Thanks for your report. When I do the same on Feisty (kubuntu), resapplet adds a small icon to the panel. It's pretty easy to miss.
If you aren't even getting an icon appear in the panel, please could you try the following:

1) start the program from the command-line (type 'resapplet' into a terminal. If you see any messages, add them as a comment to this bug report
2
) after starting resapplet, type into a terminal
ps aux | grep resapplet
Again, paste the results into this bug report.

Thanks,
Dan
