Open and save dialogs do not remember directory

Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Press Open.
2. In the open dialog, open a file in any directory other than the default one (home).
3. Press Open again.
Expected result: The last used directory is remembered. Same for the save dialog.
Actual result: It opens in the home directory again.
