Bug Description

Binary package hint: metacity

This seems to occur only after opening multiple windows.

Steps:
1: log in to Maverick A1
2: open terminal
3: open example-content folder via nautilus
4: note both windows have title bars and can be focused and moved around.
5: double click on something (I tried an odt doc that opened OO.org)
6: the title bars all disappear
7: windows can no longer be raised on click, even if they get focus
8: desktop becomes unusable, can't switch to other desktops, etc.

This only seems to occur, as I mentioned, after opening multiple windows.

The only way around this I've found is to log completely out, killing all running apps, and log back in from gdm.
