Quick Access widget crashes plasma

Bug Description

Every time I try to access the Quick Access widget plasma segfaults. This is the log in /var/log/messages:
plasma-desktop[3105]: segfault at c ip 004934a8 sp bf98e0f0 error 4 in libkio.so.5.5.0[37c000+270000]

Here's one form my crash

The KDE crash Handler also says debug info for
/usr/bin/plasma-desktop
and
/usr/lib/kde4/plasma_applet_quickaccess.so

is missing, so hopefully the backtrace has useful info with the dubug symbols I have installed

I can confirm this crash everytime QuickAccess widget is clicked. Here is my backtrace file.

Upgraded to 0.8.1-0ubuntu5~lucid1~ppa1 yesterday, but it is still crashing.

There's a second bug-report for this, might be a duplicate:

The other one is also linked to the maintainer of the QuickAccess plasmoid.

Also, I experience the same thing on Kubuntu lucid i386, KDE4.5beta2

This seems to have been fixed in KDE 4.5 RC1. I can now use the Quick Access widget and Plasma doesn't crash.

I can confirm this. The Quick Access widget no longer crashes with RC1.
