Bug Description

PIII machine. Originally a single windows partition. Subsequently successfully installed fedora 4 after partitioning drive. Various attempts at installing ubuntu 6.06 LTS on CD-ROM received in post. Original attempts failed during partitioning stage with message that could not create file system. Got through this after I selected the format option for the partition. Then got a message that grub install failed. Subsequently got the attached message.
