Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
My music library is accessed from Windows and Linux on a local NTFS file system. If I make a change to a file name while in Windows and then switch to Edgy, Rhythmbox reports that it can't find the original file, but doesn't notice the addition of the new file name. I have "Watch my library for new files" checked in the preferences which I would think would catch this. The only way around it that I can see is to rebuild the entire library or locate each song and import it manually.
The expected result is that with that option checked, any changes to the library file system would be caught and integrated into rhythmbox's library database. The actual result is that it doesn't seem to notice when files are added/changed, only removed. This may have something to do with the way NTFS reports file changes?

Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu and rhythmbox do you use? Does it happen if you use an ext3 filesystem?
