Bug Description

Binary package hint: deskbar-applet

can't type chinese word in the input box by default.
it works after you change the input method from scim to xim.
it is inconvience for day work.

Thank you for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? How do you enter chinese char? Could you describe some easy steps to trigger the bug from somebody not using chinese chars and not knowing how they are working?
