kde doesn't mount removable harddisk

Bug Description
Binary package hint: kde
Using kubuntu, when I plug a removable harddisk a icon appears on the desktop. Clicking on it open a konqueror window pointing at media:/sdc1 but the folder is empty and the disk is reported as not mounted.

bug report can be deleted, by error all the groups my user belong was deleted. reassign them fix it.
