Bug Description
Binary package hint: cups-pdf
The cups-pdf printer package installs properly, but is not detected as a local printer, it is detected as a network printer, and it does not appear to function properly with edgy.

I managed to fix this problem. Follow the normal installation steps, but instead of root-nautilus'ing and changing the properties of the cups-pdf file, simply execute the following line of code in a terminal:
“sudo chmod +s /usr/lib/ cups/backend/ cups-pdf”
