Bug Description
On this ThinkPad R52, Resume from Suspend fails if the machine has been left alone asleep for several hours. A short suspend tends to work.
Longer time on suspend before wake-up makes the X server crash and I'm presented with GDM constantly respawning and the only visible thing being the spinning jimmaq busy cursor.
SysRq-s -u -b seems to be the only way to get out of this.
ThinkPad R52, latest edgy, kernel 2.6.17-7-386

I have seen this intermittantly on my Toshiba Tecra A5, but I have never been able to reliably reproduce it.
