Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

although there are several memos on the system,
non of them are shown in the memos sidepane of evolution's
calendar view.

when pressing "click to add", and writing something, nothing
new is shown.
when switching to the memo view, those abovementioned memos
appear there (but not in the calendar view)

Hi,

I can't exactly reproduce this bug, but there's something strange here.
When I add memos in the Memos view, I see them. When I click on Calendar, they don't appear, but if I select the previous day, they show up. Could you try to look at previous day in the Calendar ?

Maybe there's a date/time problem here.

Thanks for your bug. What calendar view do you use (daily, weekly, monthly)? The memos apply to the days listed by the calendar, do you have your memo assigned to a date you are browsing with the calendar?

For information, the bug is gone for me this morning [I use daily calendar view]...

I launched Evolution at 23:30 last night, then had the bug reproduced at 01:00 am the same night (what I mean is the date changed).
Today, I create memos and everything seems fine.

Tricky one...

I've used the daily view.
The memo (as far as i can remember) had no date attached

Do you still have the issue? Could you double click on the memo and make
sure it has no date assigned?

Do you still have that problem? If you assign a date is the memo listed?

i've changed the classification of the memo from public to private, and it now shows on the memo summary panel.
(using the memo-->clasification-> private)
when re-setting the memo classification to public, the memo still shows one the list.

sorry, but no.
the memos are shows correctly in work, month, list views,
they aren't shown in the day, work week views.
i've trying both assigning and removing the start date (on two different memos, one from about october 2005, and the other was created as a test about two week ago), without any changes.

thanks in advance!

Marking unconfirmed, that works fine for me. Maybe somebody else getting the problem will pick the bug and forward it upstream

At the 8.8.2007, I've reformatted Ubuntu's partition. up until that point, the latest development version of evolution (using gutsy), had the bug.
The problem still exists, but I cannot provide more information from this point onward.
Thanks for following up!
