Bug Description

This machine is a Pentium II 233 notebook with 192 MB RAM and a new HDD. Ubuntu or Xubuntu boot up fine off the CD, but once into the GUI mouse movement is horribly slow with the pointer jumping across the screen. Mouse clicks very delayed.

Did search on Google for this machine vs. Linux and found:
http://www.ncsa.uiuc.edu/~pointer/xli/linux-xli-howto-1.html

My machine is as described on that page and results sound similar except I don't see a lock up, just very very slow and delayed mouse behavior.
