Binary package hint: unity

With unity 0.2.26:

the places (applications or files), hide half (on the vertical side) of the top panel. Consequently, I only can see my name troncated as well as all indicators icon.

this is by design, unless I'm not understanding what you mean. if so, please reopen with a screenshot, :)

At least what I've seen, was a big black block around the search field but I'm not getting this anymore (guess it was Nvidia related).

Something similar (in white) happens with Nouveau (see screenshot - just for clarification of what this bug was about).

This is no longer reproducible under Maverick (version 0.2.32-0ubuntu2).
