[Edgy] When I select an e-mail message, Evolution shows me the end of the message

Binary package hint: evolution

This is a very strange and annoying bug I noted since today.

I open Evolution, I select a mail folder on the left pane, and then I select a message on the top-right pane. The message appears on the bottom-right pane, but Evolution shows always the end of the message, rather than the head. Exactly equal if I select the message and then scrolls it down until the end.

So I always scrolls up the message to start reading it from the first lines.

Strange and annoying.

Do you use the latest evolution package?

Did you try a different theme?

I haven't seen this one lately.

This is my actual version of Evolution:

ricardo@yuggoth:~ $ dpkg -s evolution | grep Version
Version: 2.8.0-0ubuntu3

And I didn't change the theme. I think I didn't change anything, indeed. I only do an update, like every day.

Oops! I know where the problem is:

I've activated the cursor (shortcut, F7).

After deactivating it, the problem is gone.
