Bug Description

Binary package hint: adept

I installed Kubuntu Edgy Beta yesterday. After a pair of automatic updating of the system (with adept) now it's impossible to use Adept because it crashes whenever I launch it. Ever after booting up the system it crashes automatically and appears the KDE crash splash info. I installed also Synaptic but it also crashes when launched.
In the terminal it's impossible to use apt-get command because it reports "Segmentation fault of packages 0%". (I've the italian language version and this is wrongly translated in "segmentation faulta dei pacchetti in corso 0%"). Forgive me for my bad English and for I'm not un experienced user.

Thanks for the bug report.

Could you please run `sudo apt-get install gdb` and then try Adept again? Click on the backtrace tab when the crash handler appears and attach that output here. Thanks.
