Could you please paste the output of running f-spot from a terminal? When a mono exception is thrown, it doesn't end up in the crash report which you attached.

Also, could you provide info as to what version of f-spot you saw this problem with. From the crash report the only info I can gather is that it crashed with f-spot --view, and a bug with that should have been fixed with 0.2.1
