Bug Description
Binary package hint: gaim
The fonts are making my eyes bleed. Help me, Ubuntu (Wo)Man, help!
Seriously, as of my latest install of Edgy (with whatever packages came out earlier today), gaim is using really tiny fonts for displaying conversations, both with IRC and AIM. With AIM, I can increase _my_ text by messing with the conversation font size, but I can't do squat about the IRC text or incoming AIM text. It's horrible.
I tried messing with the font sizes in the gnome control center (under Fonts), and I tried tweaking the ~/.gaim/prefs.xml file (there are some font-related entries) but to no avail.
I think this used be to tweakable with the extended prefs plugin, but it looks like that no longer works with Gaim 2. Oh the pain.
look at the gtkrc plugin, included with that version of gaim. at least I think it made that beta. if not, look at writing a ~/.gtkrc-2.0 along the lines of gaim.sf. net/gtkrc- 2.0
