Bug Description

Here are some screenshots linked to from a Ubuntu Forums post:

After sudo dpkg-reconfiture fontconfig-config has been run and bitmap fonts globally disabled: http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/8585/pantallazoliferea1fx3.png

Liferea should not use bitmap fonts by default.

I also have this issue in Epiphany, Firefox and Liferea. My Edgy install was an early alpha, this bug didn't appear in later alphas and betas. Following the directions above fixed this issue though.

No, this only appears to be a bug in early Edgy installs that are upgraded to final Edgy.

I had this issue in an early edgy installation which was updated to final, but i recently did a fresh edgy installation and I don't see this problem at all anymore.

Closing because it works fine for me on fresh Edgy and Feisty installs now, Liferea doesn't use bitmap fonts by default except on Ubuntu installs sometime during Edgy development
