Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnomescan

When I open gnomescan, it says "Probing devices" for a couple of seconds and then immediately after that bugbuddy shows up telling me that it crashed. I'll attach the dump from bugbuddy.

I forgot to mention that I am using an HP PSC 2110 all-in-one printer/scanner.

I know this is possible, but i don't know how or wheter i have the

Ok, in fact, this bug is not related to the upstream one :). Can you try the latest SVN version to see if this bug is fixed ?

I'm running Edgy at the moment and don't have a spare box on which to test Fiesty. Does the package work on Edgy or are there a lot of dependencies that aren't available in the Edgy repos?

I develop gnome-scan under edgy (i just need Gtk+ 2.10). You can build
with gnome-devel & libsane-dev package installed.
