Bug Description

The context menu for the gnome-shell clock applet has only "Preferences", but should have something like "Set the time" for convenience. I'll probably submit a debdiff for a quick fix, launching time-admin.

gnome-shell patch to add "Set the time" menu option, launching time-admin, to the context menu of gnome-shell clock applet, attached. debuild, installing and running works perfectly.

Should I report this upstream and make a generic diff for panel.js?

I think this needs to be accepted upstream first. Also, Maverick is closed for new features. Anything going into Maverick needs to qualify for a https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates or a security update. Any fixes should target Natty first in any case. Please report this upstream and see if it gets accepted. Thank you for trying to make Ubuntu better.
