Bug Description
Up to 10.04 I could set cpu scaling policy in my powerdevil profiles. In 10.10, it's gone. Not good! My cpu runs at 2.00GHz all the time and is close to overheating!

Same thing, It also affects me. I've ended up with the following script for pm-utils (see attachment), but it would be great to get back cpu freq/governor option in System Settings.
