Notifications do not appear in the top-right corner, but lower-down, with about an inch of space between the top of the screen and the top of the notification - this is evident in the screenshot attached.

thank you for your bug report, that's not a bug though but a design decision, notify-osd has 2 slots, the first one is for synchronous actions like the ones you get when using multimedia keys, the other one is for notifications
