[Edgy] Problem opening gnome terminal

Bug Description

I just installed the new RC and installed all available updates. I tried to run terminal to begin setting up my system, but it doesn't work. "Starting Terminal" opens on the taskbar but then closes after about 30 seconds. Any ideas on how to help you debug this?

I think the problem has to do with Xinerama. When I reduced my display down to one screen in xorg.conf, I didn't have the problem. Now I'm back up with two screens, and I'm unable to load gnome-terminal again.
