Bug Description

Binary package hint: emacs23

When editing a Verilog file in Verilog mode, a menu called Verilog should be displayed at the top of the emacs window. On my version of Ubuntu netbook 10.10 with the emacs23 version installed, this menu does not appear. I downgraded to the X window version, emacs22, and the Verilog menu is back.

Following the bug link above, I contacted the maintainer of emacs-snapshot, who had this to say:

Hi,

It's related only insofar as both bugs mention the menu bar...

FWIW, in emacs-snapshot the Verilog menu is present so I don't know
what's going wrong in your setup. I don't maintain emacs23 nor am I
involved in Ubuntu, so I'm afraid I can't do anything for you.
